I don’t know if you read my first entry Sunday but I had a panic/anxiety attack in choir practice just before church and came home took a panic pill and went to bed. Well this morning I had another one though not as sever. I took the pill at the onset and lay down.Every time I got up feeling, as I thought, a little better, the effects of the pill would hit me and I would lie back down in short order.
Finally Judy called and reminded me it was time for Gavin’s birthday party at Bouncing Off The Walls in Sandy (or however it is worded.) It was time to get up anyway so off I went, present in toe.
When I walked in the door, someone yelled out, “Grandpa.”
It wasn’t one of my grandchildren.
It was the little boy that was playing with Gavin when I visited their house not too long ago. He was still wearing a cape and still going by the name of Superman. I can’t remember his real name…Matt?
He and Gavin were all over me for five minutes or so. Superman even had me put his cape back on him instead of letting his father do it.
Alexa was busy with her friends.
I can’t believe how big she is and barely five.
It was a party for both Alexa and Gavin with all their neighbor friends and younger cousins. First Alexa opened her gifts then it was Gavie’s turn.
