STILL WALKING

About 8:30 I went for one of my walks. I did the usual home to Redwood
Road going in and out of circles and cul-de-sacs.
I went 2.63 mile at an average speed of 2.7 mph. I burned 273
calories, took 4226 steps. It took 0:58:51 hours.
My
knees were still a little sore from yesterdays walk so I was careful about that
and toward the end my right shin area started hurting.

YOU'RE IN THE ARMY NOW

Patton is quoted as saying, “Never tell anyone how to do anything, just tell
them what needs to be done and you will be amazed at their ingenuity."
(I suppose that might not work in every situation, but even then I wouldn’t over impose them with too much information…my personal opinion.)
Colin Powell said, (not an exact quote) “When things go right I give the others involved the credit and make sure everyone knows it.” “When things go wrong I take all the responsibility on myself and let them know it and that it wasn’t their fault.”
He has always also given praise in the form of letters, gifts cards etc.

SHUCKIN AND JIVIN

As stated somewhere that Sunday I was twitching so badly in church that my arms would fly up into the air. It happened over and over again. It was about as bad the Sunday before. Hmmm maybe I’m not supposed to go to church!
Last Sunday Addison Webster who was sitting behind me grabbed my shoulder and asked if there was anything he could do. After Sacrament meeting I explained it to him—Rolley Huntsman gave me a ride home.
It has happened on other occasions lately but not as bad as those two days.
Monday and Tuesday (and today) it was going on though not so dramatically.
Yesterday, the 4th of July it was bad but my arms didn’t fly up into the air. I was more of a general body tremor. It got so bad that I was stuttering much of the day.
Today it is getting worse as the day goes on but nothing like yester day.
Yesterday my son Corey’s family of four was over as was my daughter Niki and her five.

Was feeling really bad but was able to put my shoes on and go for a walk to Redwood Road via the circles in our ward. I walked 1:05:22 2.86 miles 282 calories average speed 2.6.

From aprox. 9:30 to aprox. 10:45 I walk towards the Centennial Building but cut up to Redwood Road, then north to the end of the houses (Sherilyn’s and Marlon’s house) then back through their neighborhood; the second ward and home. I did take three detours; one of the circles in our ward twice and the other one once.
I walked for 1:6:31 hours
Went 3.41 miles
Burned 335 calories
Average speed 3.1 mph
Took 5493 steps
That was a lot faster tempo than usual and I am feeling it; sweating like a hog.
